Born in Germany in 1968, Verena was an academic high-flyer at Germany´s most prestigious technical university RWTH Aachen, obtaining a PhD in mechanical engineering at only 27 years of age. Then headhunted by Ford Motor Co., she worked as a team leader in engine design for 3 years. She left Ford in 1999 in order to allow greater focus on her therapy training, and since then has run a successful business as a technical translator.

Verena has spent the past 13 years in her own psychotherapy and self-development. She has also worked with shamans, healers, homeopaths and spiritual teachers of all traditions worldwide as well as being an aikido instructor herself. Today, this extensive introspection and acquired knowledge and skills form the basis of her work as a therapist.
